A South Dade, Florida woman, Cristina Font was victimized by a lottery scam in October. She allegedly lost $10,000 and was physically choked by one of the scammers. Two men allegedly approached her in October in a parking lot, claiming to have won $40,000 in the Florida lottery. Font got into the car of the men, who proceeded to drive her to the bank, where she withdrew $10,000. Then, one of the men choked her, stole her purse and tossed her from the vehicle.
